Addicted to Stamps - Make Your Mark Challenge #3

Welcome to our new challenge over at Addicted to Stamps.  This week's challenge is Make your Mark which gives you a free rein as long as you use your markers - Copics, Promarkers etc - to colour in your main image.

For my card I have used a digi stamp - Melissa by Sugar Nellie.  I just love these images.  She's been coloured with Flexmarkers and die cut using nesties.  I've used my Creative Expressions Floral embossing folder to partially emboss the backing which is Bazzill card.  The main card has been made up into an A5 using Anna-Marie's brushed satin card which is gorgeous.  I have made the roses using the floral e/f and the leaves are punched using Nellie Snellen two stage punch and embosser.  A dotty ribbon and some pearls finish the card off.

Please pop on over to the Addicted to Stamps challenge blog to have a look at the lovely cards made by the super talented members of the Design Team.  We look forward to seeing your entries and coming by to visit you.

Happy crafting.

Less is More - Week 60 - 2nd card

Hello everyone in Blogland - yet another glorious day but I've been ploughing through the parish accounts as I've got to present the end of year accounts to the parish meeting on Monday (yawn)!!!  So to take my mind over figures I thought I'd do another quick card for the LIM challenge which is a Recipe where you can choose any three past challenges to make your card.

For this one I've done one of my favourite things so I've chosen Week 14 White on White, Week 16 Butterflies, Week 17 Pick a Square and lastly Week 43 Bit of Bling.............. couldn't resist!!!  lol   I've taken a square white card blank, cut a mat out of white pearlised card (Anna-Marie Designs) and then used my Stampin Up Embosslits Beautiful Wings to die cut and emboss (oh, that can also count in Week 15 Embossing.........) these lovely butterflies.  I used Pinflair to attach to my card  with one just going off the edge.  The bit of bling is some gems.

Thanks for dropping by and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Less is More - Week 46 - Music

It's theme week over at Less is More and the theme they've chosen is:

MUSIC

I didn't have any music stamps and then found this great digi stamp and sentiment from TLC Creations.
I printed out the sentiment and the three kings image with the music background and die cut them with a mixture of nesties.  The image was coloured using Promarkers.  I ran a piece of miri card through my Joy with a music embossing folder.  I've used a piece of black Anna-Marie's ribbed card for my A5 base and just added some gems to finish off.

As this will be my last post til after the festivities can I wish everyone out there in blogland a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.  May everyone's stockings be filled with crafting goodies!!!  lol

Less is More - Week 33 - 1000 challenge Anything Goes CAS Entry No 2

Here is another entry for the Less is More 1000 Challenge.  Another Christmas card and I just had to use this gorgeous Polar Bear stamp set from Stamp Addicts.  Stamped both the large and small polar bear and coloured round the edges in my Glacier Blue Flexmarker.  I then cut each of them out, cut around the large bear's arms so I could "sit" the baby bear inside looking like it's being cuddled!  On a piece of pearlised white card (Anna-Marie's) I stamped the icicles and then stamped and silver embossed the star.  I sponged around the outside with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then added Glamour Dust to the icicles.  This has been mounted onto an A6 pearlised card blank.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I've inked around the edges with a silver marker.

Happy crafting.
