Bah Humbug - Challenge 39 - Nativity

The latest challenge over at Humbug Hall is Nativity.  Now I was pondering on this one as I didn't have any rubber stamps, or digi stamps, that fit the challenge.  It's not often that I do some decoupage but thought that it was the only option this week.  I had a free download from Cuddly Buddly which is a cutsie and then realised I had another nativity scene which was more traditional from a company called Card Making Downloads - so I've made two cards for the challenge.   Nothing much to say except I printed them out, cut them out and stuck them together!!!  lol  I've added some Stickles Icicle glue to the stars on the traditional card and that's all I've done.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Presents and digistamps

The challenge over at Bah Humbug this week is "presents" and at Die Cut Dreams it is "digistamps".  As I am still in a total shambles in my craft room I am going to combine both challenges in one card............ luckily the digistamps are in my computer and I just about know where that is!!!  lol

I have used this cute image of a girl sitting on a heap of presents in a Christmas bauble which is from Cuddly Buddly.  I printed it out a couple of times to get the correct size for my nesties and then coloured with ProMarkers.  On the ribbons and bows I used Stickles.  The backing paper is from the Papermania Classic Christmas set and I added some red lace to the top of the bauble and across the card.  The red roses are a die cut from Little Claire and the leaves are an L-Em punch.  The ticket is also a digistamp from Cuddly Buddly.  The snowflake is Martha Stewart with a gem in the centre.

Decoupage

I normally don't do much decoupage as I have problems with my hands so usually go for the die cut ones. However there was a free download over on Cuddly Buddly which I couldn't refuse as it was really cute and pretty easy to cut out. The other one is from a Joanna Sheen CD which I printed out ages ago and hadn't got round to making up.

This is the free Birthday Teddies download from Cuddly Buddly which is excellent quality and very easy to cut out. I've mounted it on a piece of card from my stash and then layered onto a piece of mirri which I die cut with my nesties scalloped squares. It's a square white base card (6"x6") with a piece of matching backing paper. All finished off with some border and corner peel offs and some Stickles.
This one is from a Joanna Sheen CD which I layered up using silicone glue. The base card is a square white card and I used the same backing paper and peel offs to finish the card. Also used a little bit of Stickles.
