This is the last one..............

Front of card

Hi Everybody - well if you've been following the saga of the 18th birthday cards I have, at last, finished and this is the last one.  It's mostly been constructed in CraftArtist and the mechanics of the card was inspired by Dave Brethauer and his Heart Tuckaway Card.  The card has been made out of A4 card, printed on both sides with images of BMX bikers, grafitti etc.  I used the cutout studio in CA to isolate the biker which is along the bottom of the card and I also decoupaged him for a bit of dimension.  I have used my Spellbinders book pages for the cutout closure.  The cogs/wheels are from the
Back of card
Sprightly Sprockets set die cut from pewter mirri card.  I've added metal corners and a metal embellishment "go for it" - all from my stash.  The sentiment was again done in CA matted

onto a die cut cog.  I partially embossed the tag using the Couture Creations Workshop e/f and then sponged with DI.  I've added a BMX biker and various items stamped onto shrink plastic to use as "danglers" from the tag.  The greeting on the back was made in CA, die cut using my book page die, sponged with DI and foiled using my foiling machine.  I've also made a box to match.

Thanks for stopping by.

Less is More - Week 47 - Just One Word

Hello fellow Bloggers.  Hope you had a wonderful Christmas that was filled with joy and lots of crafting goodies!!!  I had some lovely presents amongst which was an OttLite which is brilliant and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.......... just so I can get my crafting fix everywhere!  It was a very busy Christmas with all the family staying over - so lots of cooking, eating and drinking.  Now I'm trying to play catch up with all the washing, changing beds etc - but decided I just had to get back into my craft room.  For this week's challenge over at Less is More the girls have asked us to create a CAS card using "Just One Word".

I decided to use a digistamp which I've had for ages.  I printed it out on my laser printer (which was set up over Christmas by my brilliant nephew Keir) and then put it through my foiling machine.  I'm hoping you can see the foiling but it's difficult to photograph!  The hearts were coloured with Promarkers and I then die cut the image using the largest scalloped heart nestie which I then gold inked around the edge.  It's been attached to a square top fold card and I've added three roses and some gems.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year.
