Bah! Humbug! Challenge 25 - Penguins

This week's challenge over at Humbug Hall is Penguins.  After having a look through my stash I decided to use this digi stamp from Prairie Fairy which is called Polar Pals.  I've coloured with Promarkers and added Stickles for the snow and wings.  The image has been die cut using nesties and I sponged around the edge.  This has been layered onto another die cut in a co-ordinating colour.  The backing paper is from Dovecraft "Let it Snow" pad and has cute little penguins on it.  The borders are made using a Martha Stewart snowflake punch.  The sentiment is computer generated using Summer's Snowman font which you can get here.  The photo corners are an EK Success punch and I added a ribbon to finish.

  1. Love this penguin card and that font is clever and something a bit different.

  2. Hi Karen,
Another fabulous card from you ... lovely image and gorgeous paper. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!

PS: My cute penguin trio are from a set by Serendipity stamps. Glad you liked them and that I made you 'larf' lol!

  3. Hi Karen. What a cute little card -- it feels like winter with those beautiful wintery blues! Thank you for your comment on my post. I mentioned your comment in the actual post so people could find the boards if they're interested in purchasing one. Have a wonderful day (well...evening in your part of the world, I suppose). :)

  4. Love the image you used!

  5. oh totally gorgeous - love that image and the colours you have used.
Sorry to be so late commenting but it's been one of those weeks - work - new grandchild and so much stuff going on plus bad Mr Blogger not allowing people to sign in at times has not helped.
    Anyway better late than never.
Hope you'll have chance to join in our new challenge of acetate.
