Anniversary card

Just a quick post today.  It's our wedding anniversary on Thursday - married for 21 years........ perhaps he'll give me the key to the door!!!  lol  Had a hard time deciding what type of card to make Tony but he normally appreciates anything I do which is great.  Unfortunately he's had a bad back for a while so I just couldn't resist this image and especially the sentiment!  They are both from a set called The Wrinklies from Dimension Fourth.  The image has been stamped onto cream card with Memento ink and coloured with Letraset Flexmarkers and Promarkers, cut out using Nesties and Diamond Glaze added to his glasses and pipe.  I've used Stampin Up backing card and a Martha Steward large edger punch.  I added a piece of gingham ribbon and some gems.  The sentiment was stamped and clear embossed and cut out using the same Nesties.  After I had made the card I realised it didn't mention anything about our anniversary - doh!!!!  So I created that on the computer using Kon Tiki Enchanted font and used a Stampin Up punch to cut it out.

Thanks for looking.

You need a bit of humour when you reach 70...................

My friend and neighbour Annie had been hunting round the shops for a card for her friend's 70th birthday but couldn't find anything appropriate. So she asked me if I could make one and when I said what type she started off mentioning floral etc etc but then said her friend had a sense of humour so I knew just where to go with this one.

I made a stepper card and used backing papers recently received from Chocolate Baroque as part of my renewal of membership to the Guild. I then got out my set of "The Wrinklies" stamps from Dimension Fourth and stamped the lady with the turban and coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment is also from the same set.  I have used my Grand Nesties Book Pages for the mats, added some gems and a ribbon.  The circle sentiment was made using CraftArtist.

Thanks for dropping by.

Hope she sees the funny side!!!!!

A friend of mine has recently had to have an operation on her back which has been causing problems for a long time.  As I had recently bought this stamp set called Wrinklies from Dimension Fourth  I just couldn't resist using it to send Maria a card wishing her better............. I do hope she sees the funny side and it makes her giggle!!!  lol
