ATCAS Challenge #40

Hello Everyone

Well, it's that time again - a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, and this challenge has been set by me. Here's what I came up with:

Our Sponsor is

We are so happy to have Karen (Snippets) joining us at Guest Designer for the month of June.
Welcome Karen!

Whilst I was looking around for suitable images for this challenge I came across a digi postcard that I really wanted to use...........I could just imagine ladies strolling along the decks with their white parasols open shading them from the sun!!! lol

Anyway I've used my Spellbinders Mystical Embrace die, cut the postcard to size so it fitted in the central aperture and backed it with some dark blue cardstock.  I've sponged around the edges of the die with Stampin Up Bashful Blue ink which makes it stand out from the white background of the base linen card.  The sentiment is computer generated and punched out with Stampin Up Modern Label.

Please pop over to the ATCAS blog to see the gorgeous creations the rest of the DT have created.  We're looking forward to come and visit you to see your lovely entries.

Happy crafting.

  9. What a fabulous design for anyone going on a cruise, Karendipity! Brilliant to use the postcard and that diecut really does evoke the days of strolling on the deck carrying white parasols! Imagine women being covered from head to toe and carrying a parasol. Not many skin issues back then! Great challenge idea ... I'm thinking, thinking ... Hugs, Dippy
