Book cards galore...........

Hello everyone from a very dull and dismal Somerset!  We're keeping our fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow as we are cooking a BBQ for 80 people in our village.............I'm sure the power of everyone in Bloggerland keeping their fingers crossed will work for us!!!  lol

I gave you all a sneak peak of the book cards I was working on for our club night on Wednesday, one of which is a commissioned wedding card.  As this is a very picture heavy post perhaps you'd better get a cuppa and sit down!

The first photos are of the commission card and then onto the sample cards made for the girls in our craft club - by the way they all did brilliantly and produced some superb examples.

On the top of the box I've used an Embossalicious 8x8 embossing folder and cut out the centre to insert some lovely wedding-like fabric.  The dove is from Anna-Marie Designs and the flowers and charms are from my stash.  The names and date have been silver foiled and die cut using Memory Box Cherise Label and Tiffany frame.  For the front of the book I've used Britannia Dies Lattice Edge, Memory Box Blooming Vine and Meridian Border.  Inside has been stamped and silver embossed Stampendous At the Altar and initials die cut using Die-Versions Magical alphabet.  Inside the book I've computer generated a wedding poem and added acetate to the frame and used the Meridian border around the poem.  The corner die is Joy 6002/0135 (no name on it).  For the inside pocket I've used the Lattice Edge again and Spellbinders Majestic Elements for the label.  For the embossed silver mirri background I've used Spellbinders M-bossabilities Garden Lattice.  I've also used Liquid Pearls.

For this one I've used papers from First Edition Spring Feast (available from The Hobby House), Memory Box Blooming Vine, Britannia Dies Lattice Edge, Stampin Up Apothecary Art, Martha Stewart border punch, the Joy corner die and Liquid Pearls.

For this one I've used an Embosalicious 8x8" embossing folder, a Marianne CrafTables CR1241 (front die cut frame), L-Em Leone Rock Fern punch and flowers from stash, the Lattice Edge, Stampin Up border punch (for the label), Martha Stewart heart border punch and some Kanban black & silver decoupage.

For this last one I've used papers from the First Edition Spring Feast pad, Spellbinders M-bossabilities Garden Lattice e/f, Martha Stewart deep edge punch, Stampin Up sentiments, Spellbinders Twisted Metal tags, flowers and ribbon from stash, Liquid Pearls.

WAKEY, WAKEY!!!!!

Oh, sorry........thought you'd dropped off!  lol  Well think that's about it.  There is a variety of A5, 6x6 and 8x8 book cards here and if you would like the instructions please let me know and I will email them out to you.

Have a great weekend and don't forget to keep everything crossed for good weather tomorrow.

Happy crafting.

We had lunch sitting outside at Jamie's in Gunwharf and it was wonderful. Hope it doesn't rain for you for your bbq.

  5. Wow ... all the book cards are beautiful ... but the wedding one is incredible!!!! What a special keepsake for the happy couple!

Thanks for the instructions. I'm just deciphering ... remember I've been around for a while and Canada didn't convert to metric until I was an adult ... I still think in inches, feet, etc. :) Loll xx
