Sample cards

Hello everyone - another glorious day although I did some gardening earlier and got rather hot!!! lol  That'll teach me..........

Just thought I'd share my sample cards for the two projects we gave our girls at Wednesday's club night.

These are the Joy Fold cards and I really like the design of them - makes a nice change.  You can have the smaller card opening either way (just turn it upside down........BEFORE you add the backing paper!).

These are the iris folding cards........definitely not my favourite technique but pretty enough with the pleated ribbon.

Thanks for dropping by - have a wonderful weekend; I think BBQ's will be out in force in the UK over the next two days.

Happy crafting.

  1. Hi Karen. Fabulous cards for your craft club. The joy fold cards are beautiful ... wonder if I could make one that's CAS?? :) The dresses done with the ribbon are gorgeous. Loll xx

  2. Good to see these samples - I've made something like the Joy cards although had no idea that was what they were called. Good tip about putting backing paper on AFTER turning them the other way LOL!! Not seen any iris folding for ages but looks good with this design and the ribbon.

  3. These are great and so inspirational too, might have to try out this design :) thank you
