Technique Time Tuesday - Caught in Crystal

Well, it's the end of the week and looks to be a lovely weekend weather wise but also looking forward tomorrow to our Stampin Up Extravaganza that we've arranged for our craft club - it's always a fantastic day with the amazing Jenny Moors.

Mynette at Technique Time Tuesday has got a challenge on her blog which is to use the caught in crystal technique.  Do pop on over and watch her YouTube video on how to do it.  Must admit it's been a while since I've played with this technique and I used to use Kleer Floor Polish instead of Glossy Accents but the basic method is the same.  This is what I made.  It was really difficult to photo with the shiny acetate and don't think you can see all the glitter caught in the Glossy Accents.......so you'll have to use your imaginations!!! lol

I stamped the ornate butterfly from Aspects of Design Butterfly Beauties stamp set in Stazon black and then cut it out using my Lil'Inkers Stitched Squares dies.  Backing papers are from a First Edition New Leaf pad I got at Farnborough last Friday. I've used my Joy Crafts corner (6002/0135) and Our Daily Bread Beautiful borders dies.  The sentiment is the freebie with the current Craft Stamper magazine and I've added some Liquid Pearls.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a great weekend.
