Bah Humbug - Challenge 38 - Rudolph

The challenge this week over at Bah Humbug is Rudolph/Reindeer.  I am afraid this has been a real rush for me as I've been busy getting ready to do a Macmillan Coffee Morning tomorrow and had nearly 70 cards to do inserts for, get envelopes, bag etc etc................  Still everything's nearly ready and I just couldn't give up my 100% challenge entry to Bah Humbug so here's my card.

I have used a stamp set from IndigoBlu called Here Comes Santa (HC1) for the snowflake border and sentiment and the reindeer stamp is from Stampin up and I've used IndigoBlu's Flitter to attach the metallic flakes.  You use a piece of cut and dry to add the Flitter to your stamps, then stamp, leave a short while and add the flakes.  It is an extremely sticky glue and you must make sure to wash your stamps immediately afterwards in warm water.

Thanks for dropping by.

  1. Wow i absolutely adore the effect you have achieved on this Karen. Just gorgeous. Hope the coffee morning is a great success - wish I could come along, but have to go to work.
Watch out for our new challenge in the morning - it's a 'real' Christmas theme this week.

  3. Karen, this is so lovely! The white on blue is always a favorite of mine. The snowflakes along the top are beautiful. Thanks for playing along with us at Bah Humbug this week.

  4. Great card Karen, I saw them demonstrating this at Westpoint but wasn't brave enough to give it a try, love your result.

  5. Love this card - first time I'd heard of flitter

All your comments and thoughts are really appreciated, as is the time you've taken to leave them :o)
