Less is More - Week 32 - One Layer Seeing Double

This week's challenge over at Less is More is One Layer - Seeing Double.  For this card I've taken a square white card blank which has a slightly textured finish - must admit I wished I'd used a plain card at the end but I've been short of time this week so carried on regardless!  I started off with the sentiment which is computer generated and then I have used my butterfly stamp by Inkadinkado.  I've stamped with Broken Glass Distress Ink and then clear embossed it.  I then cut out a mask and placed it over the image and inked up my stamp with Faded Jeans D/I; stamped the image and again clear embossed it.

Thanks for dropping by.

  1. This is lovely... the two blues look great together!
I was trying to stamp onto deeply textured card today and had enormous difficulty in getting a satisfactory impression... in the end I flattened it slightly using my Cuttlebug! It helped a lot!

    Thanks so much

  2. Really pretty Karen
I use hammer texture card all the time and use the rear, not to textured for stamping directly
    Thank you

  3. Not easy stamping onto textured card but I love the colours you used.
