My friend Debbie asked me to make a special card for her Mum & Dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary and also one suitable for her Dad to give her Mum. Here's what I came up with.
This is for her Mum & Dad:
I've tried making card stands from card before now but find they don't actually hold the card very well unless it is light so I had in my stash some small black plastic stands (originally for paperweights) and got Tony to spray one gold - I was so pleased with it as it matched the card perfectly and was much more sturdy than the card ones. I feel he may have a few more to do!!! lol
This one is for her Mum from her Dad:
Well, just off to load up the washing machine again! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Happy crafting.
These two beautiful cards are sure to be treasured. Great idea with the stands too - brainwave.

Oh Karen, that is beautiful. What a Special Card it is - I bet she was delighted with it - and how lucky to think of spraying a holder like that. Bet that stays on display for ever.
