Golden weddings

Hi everyone - well I have escaped into my craft room for the first time in nearly a week.  We have had visitors here for the last 5 days and they've just gone home, so inbetween all the washing and ironing I thought I'd share a couple of special cards I was asked to make for a Golden Anniversary.

My friend Debbie asked me to make a special card for her Mum & Dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary and also one suitable for her Dad to give her Mum.  Here's what I came up with.

This is for her Mum & Dad:

I've tried making card stands from card before now but find they don't actually hold the card very well unless it is light so I had in my stash some small black plastic stands (originally for paperweights) and got Tony to spray one gold - I was so pleased with it as it matched the card perfectly and was much more sturdy than the card ones.  I feel he may have a few more to do!!! lol

This one is for her Mum from her Dad:

Well, just off to load up the washing machine again!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Happy crafting.
